Jeff & Sheri Easter

Jeff and Sheri Easter come from legendary gospel music families—Jeff’s father is part of the renowned Easter Brothers, and Sheri’s mother is a member of the iconic Lewis Family. Raised in an environment filled with praise and worship through music, gospel runs deep in their heritage. The couple met in August 1984 at the Albert E. Brumley Sundown to Sunup Gospel Singing in Arkansas, where Jeff, then playing bass for the Singing Americans, reconnected with Sheri’s mother and was introduced to Sheri. They married just ten months later and spent several years traveling and performing with The Lewis Family before launching their own ministry in 1988. Over the decades, Jeff & Sheri Easter have earned widespread recognition, including multiple Dove Award nominations and nine wins, two career Grammy nominations, and numerous Singing News Fan Awards—most recently Trio of the Year in 2021. Sheri has been honored as Favorite Alto eleven times, Female Vocalist four times, and Alto of the Year, while the duo has collected awards from organizations like the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music Association, International Country Gospel Music Association, and the Gaither Homecoming Video Series, where they’ve been featured since 1993. At the heart of their ministry, Sheri shares, “When we perform, we want people to leave a little different than when they came in—we want them to have a great time smiling, laughing, crying and healing. We want them to know God loves them and that He is in control.”
