Chris Blue, winner of season 12 of The Voice, returns to his gospel roots with his debut album Foundations: The Hymns of My Heart. Long before the bright lights of television, Blue was a church kid singing with his family and performing alongside gospel greats like Fred Hammond and Kirk Franklin. His journey from a two-year-old mesmerized by The Canton Spirituals to a world-renowned vocalist has been guided by faith and a desire to stay true to who God created him to be. Teaming up with producers Kevin Williams and Matthew Holt for Gaither Music, Blue delivers a heartfelt “back to my roots” project that celebrates timeless hymns and soulful classics that shaped his story.
